STAR CHOICE "IT PAYS TO MOVE YOUR STAR CHOICE!" CONTEST RULES AND REGULATIONS

The contest "It pays to move your Star Choice!" (hereafter called the "Contest") is organized by Star Choice Television Network Inc. (hereafter called "Star Choice"). The Contest begins on May 15th, 2008, and ends on August 31st, 2008 at 11:59:59 pm (EDT) (hereafter called "Contest Period"). Any mention hereby in regard to the time refers to Eastern Daylight Saving Time (EDT).

Eligibility
This contest is open to all Star Choice existing customers who move between May 15th and August 31st, 2008, and to all Star Choice new residential customers who purchase a Star Choice system between May 15th, 2008, and August 31st, 2008; all aged eighteen (18) years old and over and residing in Canada (hereafter called the "Contestant"), except to employees, officers and agents of Star Choice Television Network Inc., its advertising agencies, public or promotion relations, its partners, subsidiary companies and all members of their immediate family and household.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Registration

On August 31st, 2008, at 11:59:59 pm (EDT), all Star Choice existing customers who have moved between May 15th, 2008, and August 31st, 2008 inclusively when reactivating their system at their new home, as well as all new Star Choice customers who have purchased a Star Choice system, either through one of our retailers, through direct sales or by calling the Star Choice call center at 1-888-554-STAR (7827) or via the website starchoice.com, between May 15th, 2007, and August 31st, 2008, will be entered automatically in the Contest (hereafter called "Automatic entry").

On a sheet of paper, hand print your name, surname, age, complete address and phone number(s), then write down a text of fifty (50) words minimum by which your answer the following question: "Tell us why you should be the winner". Mail everything to: Star Choice "It pays to move your Star Choice" Contest, c/o Marketing Service, 2300 Marcel-Laurin Blvd., St-Laurent, Quebec, H4R 1J9, postmarked August 31st, 2008, at 11:59:59 pm (hereafter called "Postal entry").
The Automatic entry and Postal entry are collectively called "Entry ballot".
In order to win, the Contestant whose Automatic entry will have been selected during the draw will be contacted by Star Choice, and, prior to obtaining the prize and as a basic condition to receive it, the Contestant will have to correctly answer a skill testing question (hereafter called the "Question"). After having correctly answered the Question, this contestant will be declared the winner (hereafter called the "Winner"), subject to other conditions stated to the rules and regulations hereby.
In order to win, the Contestant whose Postal entry will have been selected during the draw will be contacted by Star Choice, and, prior to obtaining the prize and as a basic condition to receive it, the Contestant will have to correctly answer a skill testing question (hereafter called the "Question"). After having correctly answered the Question, this contestant will be declared the winner (hereafter called the "Winner"), subject to other conditions stated to the rules and regulations hereby.
There is one (1) Automatic entry during the Contest Period.
There is one (1) Postal entry for the whole Contest Period.
No purchase is necessary to participate in the Contest.

PRIZING

Five (5) winners will get respectively One (1) Samsung 50 '' High Definition Television including a Home Theater Sound System and Ten (10) winners will respectively get a DSR505 HD with professional basic installation included, all of which more or less valued at fifteen thousand dollars Canadian ($ 15 000 CDN). The Prize does not include anything else than what is under this paragraph. The following conditions apply to the Prize:

The Prize must be accepted as awarded and cannot be substituted, switched in total or in part, nor transferred, unless written consent is given from Star Choice.
The Winner commits to complete and sign a Declaration and Release Form.

The Prize is limited exclusively to the description made hereby. Any item, including but not limited to packages, bundles and services, that is not mentioned specifically or described above is excluded from the Prize.
Star Choice reserves the right at their sole discretion to substitute the Prize by another one of equal value or of money value, if the Prize could not be attributed to the Winner as described hereby, for any reason whatsoever.

DRAWING
On September 15th, 2008, at 3:00 pm, there will be a drawing among all entry forms at the Star Choice offices (2300 Marcel-Laurin Blvd., St-Laurent, Quebec, H4R 1J9); the number of Automatic entries selected during this drawing will be prorated by the total number of Automatic entries and Postal Entries received at the date of the drawing.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

To win, the Contestant whose Entry form has been selected randomly to receive the Prize will have to comply with the entry and eligibility conditions prescribed by these rules and regulations. The Contestant who fails to comply with one or several of these conditions will be disqualified and another drawing will take place to determine a new winner.
Star Choice will inform the Winner in person, by phone and/ or email. In the event of Star Choice not being able to reach the person selected by the drawing for any reason whatsoever within forty-eight (48) hours of the drawing, Star Choice will conduct as many drawings as necessary among all Entry forms to award the Prize.
All Postal entries without purchase sent in respect of this contest are the property of the organizers of the Contest, and will not, in any case, be returned to the contestants, except to the persons whose participation has been selected for a prize.
In order to claim his/her Prize, the Winner will have to complete and sign a Declaration and Release form (the "Form") that will be sent to him/her by mail by Star Choice and return it fully completed and signed within ten (10) days of reception. Star Choice reserves the right to hold back or not award the Prize, in the event that the Form is not returned fully signed within this delay.
Star Choice will inform the Winner by mail and/or by phone, upon reception of the Form, with details related to the transmission of the Prize.
Star Choice, its respective companies and subsidiaries and any other body corporate from its corporate group, their advertising or promotion agencies, and respectively their officers, administrators, executives, employees, as well as Star Choice affiliates, and any other representatives related to this Contest (hereafter called the "Releases") are exempted from any liability pertaining to the Prize and to the Contest, for which they do not supply any guarantee.
Any prize must be accepted as awarded, and cannot be transferred unless written preliminary agreement from Star Choice substituted with another prize or switched in total or in part for cash. In the event that, for reasons beyond its control and not related to winners, Star Choice could not award the Prize as described hereby, Star Choice reserves the right to award a prize (or part of a prize) of same nature and equivalent value or, to its entire discretion, the value of the prize indicated to the rules hereby (or a portion of this prize) in cash.
Star Choice will not assume responsibility of any nature whatsoever in any case where its inability to act would result from a fact or a situation beyond its control in inside its operation buildings or those of the organizations' or companies' establishments whose services are used in behalf of Contest.
By entering this Contest, the Winners authorize the Contest organizers to use, if required, their name, photograph, residential location, voice, image and/or release related to their prize for advertising purposes, without any form of remuneration. Moreover, the Winners give authorization that their surname, name and place of residence be announced on the Internet page of this Contest, without any form of remuneration.
The Releasees will not be liable for incomplete or unclear contact information from the Contestants.
Any Entry or registering attempt by way of electronic, computerized or any other method, against the spirit of the Contest (e.g. computer hacking, spam, etc.) will be rejected automatically, and could be referred to competent judicial authorities. Any automated entry will be located and rejected.
The Releasees will not be liable for any problem including, but not limited to: an error on the technical or phone lines network, online computer systems, servers or suppliers, computer equipment, softwares or any other problem resulting directly or indirectly from a virus, computer bog or failure to send the entry to Star Choice, for any reason. Star Choice and other Releasees should not be held responsible for any damage to the Contestants' computer equipment following their registration to the Contest. Star Choice and other Releasees will not be liable for any other problem that could be prejudicial to the smooth conduct of this Contest, in accordance with the rules and regulations stated hereby, including without limiting the generality of the forgoing, the cancellation or the postponement of the promotions on air of the aforementioned Contest.
Star Choice reserves the right to modify or cancel without notice the Contest, subject to the approval of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec, if required.
Star Choice's decisions are final and without appeal.
For Quebec residents, any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
