We've made some big improvements to your on-screen guide

At Star Choice, we work hard to provide you with the best television experience every day with unsurpassed programming and the latest technology.

We're pleased to announce new software upgrades to your DSR207, DSR317, DSR505 HD and DVR530 HD receivers that will make your Star Choice experience even better. You'll love the improvements this update will offer.

New On-screen Guide Features

The new on-screen guide's advanced technology makes room for even more High Definition channels! Since January 2008, we have already added 14 HD channels, with many more to come! Plus, we continue to offer Canada's Largest No Additional Charge HD Package of channels.

Enhancements include the following:

• Faster operation
• Easier to read text
• Program types such as movies, sports or children's programming are colour coded for easier channel surfing
• Picture-in-guide continues through DVR list (DVR530 HD receiver) and through Option menus
• An "Instant-On" functionality which loads guide information in less than three minutes, in case of power failure or reset
• Enhanced stability

In the months ahead, there will be numerous new features and enhancements including localized weather, the ability to search for particular programs, more programming details, a longer-term look ahead in the on-screen guide, and much more!

This software update will be phased in for all customers with these receivers over the month of July and August. There is no need to call Star Choice as it will update automatically over our satellite network. Of course, there will be no cost for this free upgrade and we thank you for being a loyal customer. We hope you enjoy the new and improved Star Choice HD experience.
