TVA HD Channel Launches

On June 12, 2008, Star Choice is adding the superbly entertaining French-language TVA HD (ch. 245) to our growing channel lineup. As a part of our No Extra Cost HD Package, TVA HD will be available to all customers who subscribe to the French and English Essentials.

Tune in to TVA HD and get ready to live an amazing television experience this summer, especially during weekends with Ciné-Extra, Cinéma au lit, Ciné-Pop and Cinémax that present a huge selection of movies in high definition, including re-mastered movies such as James Bond, numerous Elvis Presley hits and comedies featuring the priceless Jerry Lewis.

Also see enthralling American series in French like Heroes, Criminal Mind, Monk and the third season of Prison Break.

This fall, TVA HD will also broadcast its most popular game shows in HD, including Le Cercle and La poule aux œufs d'or, as well as dramatic series including Destinées, La promesse and the second season of Les sœurs Elliot. Of course, Dr House will be back in HD more arrogant than ever!
